August Advising Hours

During August, Career & Academic Planning Services (CAPS) is offering Walk-In and Drop-In advising without an appointment to accommodate high student traffic. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before closing time for the best advising experience.

In-Person Walk-In Advising
Monday & Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Virtual Drop-In Advising

Academic Advising

Frederick Community College students can schedule appointments with assigned advisors based on their specific major or career community to receive personalized academic and career guidance. Students can schedule personalized appointments through provided links or the Navigate360 app.

Career Services

The Career Services office provides comprehensive support to help students and alumni explore career paths, develop professional skills, and transition into the workforce. The department offers personalized resources including resume reviews, interview preparation, and online tools like Focus2 for assessing interests and matching them to academic majors.

Transfer Services

Transfer Services provide students with comprehensive resources to transition smoothly to four-year institutions, including individual counseling, transfer planning workshops, and annual transfer fairs.
